Abstract
Issues of governance and integrity is of concern to most Malaysians.
The current state of affairs in this context is very much alarming that
might jeopardize the country in the long run. Concerned and having
the sense of responsibility towards this issue, Yayasan Pahang (YP)
has financed the establishment of FIM Integrity and Governance
Centre (FGIC) at Universiti Malaysia Pahang. The main objective of
this centre is to cascade down good values among its citizenship via
research, publication and training programs. One of the projects
commissioned by Yayasan Pahang to FGIC is the establishment of the
Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) practice. This practice is
essential to inculcate good values among its warga-kerja in order to
mold a good corporate culture which will give dignity and selfbelonging and net-worth to its warga-kerja. UMP is proud of this
opportunity and would like to express its heartfelt thanks for the
trust given. I do believe individuals alike YH Dato Mahmud Mohd
Nawawi, General Manager of Yayasan Pahang and Encik Airulamri
Amri, Senior Manager for Education at YP has been instrumental in
making this project a reality. My sincere gratitude also goes to Ms.
Faizah Shafie, Audit Manager at YP for facilitating the research and
our thanks also to the validators and the respondents of the study.
To Vice Chancellor, YH Prof. Dato Seri Daing Nasir Ibrahim who
believes in doing things right, and doing the right things, my utmost
and sincere terima kasih for his support, encouragement and advice
that has enabled the project to be completed successfully
