Abstract
This book introduces the fundamental of electronic systems and its programming
concept, Android Apps and the Internet of Things (IoT). The content is tailored to
guide students through the development of modern electronic systems. It starts out
by exposing the programming concepts from two different approaches block
coding (mBlock) and line coding (Arduino). The activities include fetching input
signals, executing logic functions and assigning output signals. Moving to the second
phase, students will be guided to construct simple electronic circuits, consisting of
a micro controller, and utilise an open source platform to program the system.
Finally, the fundamental of IoT is introduced and students will be guided to develop
an Android App (MIT Apps Inventor) to control the electronic system.
