Abstract
The aim of this proceeding is to highlight the activities and R&D findings in the utilization of biomass for biofuel and other value-added products globally and locally. Papers collated here highlight the biomass application for value-added product and renewable energy resources towards commercialisation and wealth generation for the nation. It is believed that technologies developed from these works will be the catalyst towards a more efficient and profitable production of products. The biofuel production from biomass would definitely reduce the over reliance on fossil fuel and simultaneously protects the environment.
