understanding of each and every aspect of your work.
c. That you are aware where your work sits
in relation to the wider research field.
Highlight your research input for the panel to gauge your very contribution.
d. That your work is of adequately standard for the awarding degree. Very often it is not
that straightforward to gauge the adequacy of the standard, but your significant
contributions to the enhancement of the field (publications, patents, and industrial
endorsements) will prove it.
e. That you can justify your work in response to the examiners' questions. Your
experiences explaining your work with others (conferences, exhibitions) will help you
here to answer those queries from the examiners. It helps you to anticipate the
questions likely to be asked by the examiners.
f. The novelty/enhancement in the selected field. Single out how your work is different
from others as many may have reported the similar work. Clearly, distinguish your
relevant contributions in the knowledge enhancement of the field.
