Attending a pre-viva (mock viva) is another way for students to foreseen the potential
glitches in their work and at the same time it trains them to face the viva voce with more
confidence. It is an avenue for them to gather as much as information related to their work
from much experienced researchers (panel members). It is worth to note that conflicting
recommendations from the panel are common during this session. Handle this by reviewing
the proposed research scope and research objectives, in addition to the discussions with
supervisors and peer researchers.
ACTIVITIES
1. Ascertain all possible questions that could be raised from your research work.
2. Express the attributes of a dull versus impactful presentations.
